Employee Benefits
Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) offers our full-time employees
a comprehensive cost-shared benefits package that includes,
medical, dental, semi-private hospital coverage, life insurance
and long term disability. Part-time and casual employees receive
an additional percentage of their pay in lieu of full-time
benefits.
Employees may also take advantage of the low group rates
for additional voluntary life and accidental death insurance
(for self and family members) as well as the convenience of
payroll deduction for group RRSPs.
GBHS participates in the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan
(HOOPP) and membership is available to all full-time and eligible
part-time and casual employees.
GBHS has partnered with Warren Shepell to provide employees
and their eligible dependants with a 24-hour Employee Assistance
Program, offering confidential counselling and referral services.
