urban areas to the south.

house on a 6,000 square-foot lot located in a pleasant neighborhood
can be acquired in this price range.
- $120,000 to 160,000: large, older double-brick houses
near the centre of the city in well-established neighbourhoods
are moderately priced.
- Less than $200,000: attractive newer housing, housing
with frontage on Georgian Bay can be acquired at a reasonable
cost, although prices depend significantly on the amount
of lake frontage and the quality of the house.
- As low as $200,000: new homes with spectacular views over
the bay or the Niagara Escarpment on large city lots or
on rural estate lots make this area an attractive place
in which to live.
