Laboratory Services

Laboratory Services are available at all hospitals in the Grey Bruce Health Service corporation and are made up of several different departments or disciplines which include Biochemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology and Histopathology.

The laboratories are staffed by personnel with varying technical and professional qualifications. These include Pathologists [MD], Medical Laboratory Technologists [MLT], Laboratory Assistants (either Medical Lab Assistants [MLA] or Certified Lab Assistants [CLA] and Clerical staff.
