Position Precis:

Grey Bruce Health Services – Owen Sound hospital is the level 2 regional referral centre for all major medical and surgical acute care with excellent diagnostic imaging and laboratory services including CT, MRI and PACCs capability. The department sees over 36,000 patient visits per year. There are ten hours of double coverage shifts daily. Flexible work hours with a rotation that allows for reasonable time off provides an excellent opportunity for a healthy balanced lifestyle. You would become part of a strong, collegial team of full time and part time ER physicians who work collaboratively with all the sub-specialty departments in this busy hospital.

Qualifications:

FRCP(C) or CCFP EM
Significant Emergency experience will also be considered.

Grey Bruce Health Services – Owen Sound hospital is the regional health centre with multidisciplinary back up on site 24/7 from Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, and Radiology with additional coverage from ENT and Ophthalmology. Diagnostic Imaging, including CT and MRI, and 24-hour labs are accessible.

GBHS also operates 24/7 emergency departments at all of its rural hospitals and provides emergency care during regular office hours at its clinic in Tobermory. Family physicians provide coverage to the rural hospitals and the clinic in Tobermory.
