Ambulatory Care

Ambulatory Care clinics (often referred to as walk-in clinics) provide medical services that can be done in a day and do not require an overnight stay in hospital. Patients receive their care in hospital, and go home to recover, which is often preferable for patients, cost effective for the hospital, and can reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections. We have many different types of clinics, including the following:

  • Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
  • Dermatology Clinic
  • Ear Nose and Throat Clinic
  • Endocrinology Testing
  • Fracture Clinic
  • Geriatric Assessment Clinic
  • Gynaecology
  • Hepatitis C Clinic
  • Minor Procedure Clinic
  • Ophthalmology
  • Urology Clinic
  • Endoscopy Procedures
  • Skin Cancer Clinic

How do I book an appointment?

All visits to an Ambulatory Care clinic require a referral from a physician.
