Grey Bruce Health Services participates in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and membership is available to all full-time and eligible part-time and casual employees.
HOOPP is a multi-employer plan, making it easy for members to build their HOOPP pension as they move from one HOOPP employer to the next.
The Major Ontario Pension Plans Portability Agreement covers HOOPP and 14 other pension plans. Under this agreement, benefits can be transferred to and from 14 plans.

GBHS offers full-time employees a comprehensive, cost-shared benefits package that includes medical, dental, semi-private hospital coverage, life insurance and long-term disability. Part-time and casual employees receive an additional percentage of their pay in lieu of full-time benefits.
